Dog Opportunity Grants and Support

Our Mission

Provide grants to qualified individuals for the purpose of receiving approved, participatory training and care of their paired service and assistance dogs, tuition for approved, life-skills programs that incorporate dogs, and to promote and sponsor charitable activities that support these individuals. Dogs currently serves individuals in Wisconsin, Illinois and Michigan who can receive services from our approved providers.

Grants and Support

Our focus is on qualified individuals who have experienced trauma or who are living with disabling conditions and who may benefit from dogs with special-purpose training such as service or assistance, medical alert and other similar disciplines. DOGS provides grants to offset the cost of this specialized training as provided by approved vendors as well as grants to offset the tution costs of job- and life-skills classes that incorporate dogs in their approved programs.
